The one star only so that you can write something here at all ..... The star is too much, clearly !! 19h table ordered and on time on site. Allegedly we placed the food order around 7:20 pm. When the food wasn't there at 8.10pm, we asked for the first time. Unfriendly answer: "Coming soon ...". Second request around 8:20 pm: "I'll let the chef know". 20:25 the real catastrophe: meat dry, side dishes little, spaetzle supposedly fresh (fresh from the pack, dry ...). Beverage demand after more than an hour did not take place !!!! THIRST 🥵 .... "OPERATION" addressed: sloppy, not critical. The best saying "then you have to look for another place ..." Of course, please !!!

Quaint and cozy. Tasty local trout. Simple food but good. Also really okay in terms of price.

Nice rustic hotel in Bavarian style. Rooms tastefully decorated and everything was very clean. In the restaurant very good food and friendly service. For coffee at lunchtime, the homemade cheese cream is highly recommended. We felt very comfortable, slept well and would love to come back.

The fourth star is actually only for the great location and the wonderful atmosphere. The friendly service is also worth mentioning. Otherwise only mediocre. It took a long time until the food came and the taste was only average. The side dishes came to the main course at different times. The price is rather high and does not match the level.

Very cozy, rustic and quaint. Ideal for a short hiking break. Honest, rustic food, local specialties, which also have their price. 4 stars because the food this time was not to the point. I had a soup that was completely over-salted.

Absolute juice shop! It all started with the idea of ​​having lunch with friends. So we made our way to the Rhönhäuschen. Unfortunately, this ended in a fiasco, the service was unfriendly and the food was an hour away. Drinks were brought and when they were empty we had to put up with the fact that we were lined up .. nice house but bland food and unfriendly service .. much too expensive .. Never again !

Went for lunch and left the inn just before 5. In other words we waited a long time for the food, about 1 1/2 hours. During this time, we were not asked if we would like to have a drink, nor did the waitress look to our table, let alone tell us why the food is coming. When we finally got our food, this was by no means adequate in terms of value for money: small portion, little taste (except for the soup) and very expensive. After paying, the staff did not thank, still adopted. We felt very unwelcome. The only star I forgive only for the beautiful house.

Cozy and lovingly furnished rooms. Slept very well and calmly. Pretty house, great atmosphere. Dinner and breakfast very good. Service extremely friendly. The dog was also warmly welcomed.

After many years we were once again in Rhönhäuschen for Sunday dinner, trout !! After a change of ownership, the restaurant is great again. Comfortably maintained, beautifully decorated, very nice service and great food. A successful Sunday.
